He actually fought every instinct in his body telling him to run to Phil's side the moment he started pushing himself up on his elbows. When the questions spewed forward Clint's heart sank. Phil didn't remember. He didn't remember Arkham, he didn't remember being with him, he didn't remember his and Bruce's friendship, he didn't remember being with Bruce. Immediately, he started distancing himself even if all he wanted to do was hold Phil in his arms and possibly cry a little. Emotions, Clint had them. He just didn't show them as much. The archer turned to face the other two men, shrugging a little. "Call me Clint Barton: Hulk whisperer." Because Phil wouldn't know that they actually spent time in close proximity with the doctor's other half. Clint could make this as business as possible for a while, he knew. Bruce would catch on eventually and he didn't think he would like to find out on his own that Phil didn't remember as he took a bite of his sandwich.
"Jade Jaws did fantastic. The SHIELD agents didn't see what hit 'em. Of course, if the big guy didn't hit 'em, I did." He smiled cheekily. Clint was proud in his contribution to watch the Hulk's back even if he didn't really need someone watching his back at all. "'m pretty sure it puts you on SHIELD's radar in a bad way though, freckles." Clint really didn't mind where he was on SHIELD's radar but he was sure they could tell by the deliberate moves they possibly caught on camera that Clint had been the one to orchestrating the entire event. What could he saw? He did make one hell of a performer. Clint turned back to Phil, offering him a little smile. "'n everything's fine, boss. We jus' decided to liberate you from SHIELD's grasp. They told us you had died."
