The smile was the first thing that tipped Clint off, if he was honest with himself. But then again, he was used to reading both men's facial expressions by now it might have just been hopeful wishing on his part. Still, he was pleased with just sitting back and watching them interact. It was better for Bruce if it went like this. Phil not pushing him away but rather accepting his help. Even if it wasn't the way that he wanted it to be. The perfect scenario was Phil remembering and they all skipped off -- happily ever after. Reality was always crueler than fantasy. He didn't want to think about was going to happen to them, he didn't want to think that their relationship was never going to be as it was when they lived in Arkham since they had to build from the ground up once again. Bruce and Phil's friendship, what it turned into. His an--well, he was more focused on getting Bruce and Phil back to the level they were. He could come later.
Clint set the plate and glass down, wanting to crowd around Phil as much as he could but telling him it might make his handler a tad bit uncomfortable. He sat on the nearest bed to him, folding his arms before side-eyeing Bruce a bit at the fuzzy handcuffs comment. His mind probably going to the same place Bruce's did for a second and smirking. "Is there anything else you need, boss? 'm pretty sure Bruce can sing you a nice lullaby. He has excellent bed-side manners or whatever." He offered Bruce a grin at that before reaching behind him to grab his own pillow before moving it to Phil's bed. He had a contingency plan so he'd be good for it. "'m planning to go out in a bit to check around the place." He was going to do it anyway. Even if he was exhausted himself. Their safety was top priority. "But I think we've got plenty of time to rest up...which I think both y'all should be doing. Freckles, I made you a sandwich too." He motioned to the lone plate on the counter.
