Phil must have had the patience of...someone who really knew how to put up with bullshit. It was all Clint could think to himself during the past couple days that were leading up to the full moon. With every passing day he was growing more and more irritable, angrier. If he snapped at Phil it wasn't on purpose, mostly. He would apologize a little while afterwards and snap at him again after ten minutes. Rinse, repeat. In his mind he was going to make it up to him somehow. He just didn't know how as of yet. As quiet repentance for snapping at Phil which was usually on an hourly basis at this point when Phil was home. He cleaned his apartment. Ordered him Chinese food in case he didn't show up before Phil got home from work before doing some scouting for better locations for the next night. As much was he was looking forward to being locked in the apartment on the full moon, somehow he doubted how everything would be able to stand up to the full force of him as a werewolf.
His bed 'the sofa' would probably end up dead before the night was through. He didn't want to get into what might happen to Phil if he was there too. Accidents happen(ed). He really didn't want to deal with the outcome of an accident happening in Phil's home or rather an accident happening to Phil. He wouldn't be able to live with himself if that were the case.
The search came out a bust for anything in walking distance before doubling back, hands tucked in his pockets and staring down at his feet as he walked before heading up to the apartment and stepping inside before kicking off his shoes. It happened usually like clock work for him. He was waiting for Phil to come home, already a little moody because he couldn't find a place to hide out that was safe and secure enough for him and possible individuals who were stupid enough to go close to somewhere that was secluded. Of course he wasn't happy. He always believed the day before was worse than the day of because his skin felt too tight, too hot, he was getting ready to shed his humanity once more and he absolutely hated every moment of it. When he heard the front door open he did everything not to roll his eyes and scoff.
"Yanno, 've got no idea why 'm still here. This place fucking sucks." In lesser jerky terms, it went more like: I couldn't find somewhere to hide out tomorrow night. Help me, Phil-wan.

He pulled off his jacket and threw it over the back of a chair before sitting down on the couch. He would change into more comfortable clothes later. For now, he just wanted to sit down.
"What do you want to do about dinner?" Phil was well-aware of the elephant in the room, but he was tired and he wanted a little normalcy. Clint had started to become part of his normal, strange as that was, and he was completely okay with that.

Date: 2012-09-22 07:31 am (UTC)He tilted his head to the side, brow arching a bit. "I bought Chinese food before I tried to look for a place to lock me in tomorrow night." Clint nodded towards the kitchen before his eyes turned back to Phil. "I remembered what you got last time...hopefully you're not one of those people who changes their choices every time they go." Clint was. His plate was already sitting next to Phil's but he didn't want to eat until he had gotten home. "By the way...I came up with nothing. I don't..." He didn't know what he was going to do.

Date: 2012-09-22 06:19 pm (UTC)He sighed. "I can chain you in the bathroom. There are no windows and I can barricade the door in case you get out of the chains. I was trained to handle violent insurgents. I think it'll be fine, Clint." He could do this. Clint just had to be contained. If Phil could handle several armed men, he could handle one large wolf. It didn't matter if Clint just trashed the bathroom or something. Phil was handy. He could fix it.

Date: 2012-09-23 06:12 am (UTC)Huh.
"What? No...fuck." Clint didn't want to be near a human population during this. Let alone in his friend's apartment, where the capability of getting out was too much of a risk. "With violent insurgents you don't have to worry about them breaking out and eating you, Phil." He did have to worry about them breaking out and shooting him, but he figured the wolf would be faster. He knew it was going to be. He didn't want to risk it. Clint rolled to his feet before heading into the kitchen and moving to grab Phil's dinner before heading back into the room, holding it out to him. He quietly offered up either a fork or chop sticks. Whichever the other man preferred, really.

Date: 2012-09-23 06:36 am (UTC)"I'll push furniture in front of the door. If you have a better idea, we'll do it, but this is better than nothing, right?" The idea was to make sure Clint couldn't get out. If there was someplace else he could chain Clint up, that would be fine, but the bathroom was the only room without windows. It was the only one that would work here.
If they could go somewhere else, that would be ideal, but Phil's at a loss and obviously Clint is, too. He had to keep Clint contained, but he also had to keep Clint safe. He knew Clint could hurt someone, but he could also get himself hurt. Everyone was safer if he was locked up for the night.

Date: 2012-09-23 07:35 am (UTC)"You know 'm sorry right?" About how he'd been acting. About how moody he was. Clint took a bite of his dinner, trying to preoccupy his mouth before he added anything that would have made all of this seem insulting. He was pretty sure he found his new way of keeping himself filtered from Phil.

Date: 2012-09-25 04:51 am (UTC)"I promise I won't let you hurt anyone." He put down his fork. "And I won't let you get hurt, either." Because Clint mattered just as much as everyone else. Maybe he was starting to matter a little more than everyone else, but Phil wasn't thinking too much about that for now.
"We should plan for the worst, but you need to stop expecting it, okay? We'll be fine." Because they were in this together now. He wished Clint would get that into his head.

Date: 2012-09-25 10:58 pm (UTC)Clint propped his feet up onto Phil's lap, watching him quietly as he continued eating his dinner with a smile on his face. He felt relaxed, which was a nice change from the overwhelming anxiety he was feeling all day. He knew it would just get worse the next day. He wasn't looking forward to it. He could feel it at the pit of his stomach. He sat there for a moment, feet over his lap before moving himself so he could lay his head on Phil's shoulder. Subtly breathing in his scent and perhaps sighing a little. "Should we get an ambulance on stand-by? You think you can pull that off, G-Man?" He was joking.

Date: 2012-09-26 03:55 am (UTC)He gave Clint a smile. "You'll be fine, too. I'm going to make sure of that. We'll find a safe way to keep you restrained." He squeezed his hand on Clint's leg before taking it back to grab his drink. Then he put his food on the table and turned his focus back to Clint, where he just looked at him. He would be lying if he said this wasn't a little scary, but he would keep Clint safe and he would keep him from hurting anyone else. There wasn't any other option.

Date: 2012-09-26 05:28 am (UTC)Clint would be lying if he said he didn't smell the slight fear on Phil. It didn't instill confidence in him but it made him think that Phil was on level with him. "You smell really good, sir." It was meant to be a thought rather than a statement. He grew quiet for a moment, pushing that out of his mind for the moment as he wrapped his arm around Phil's body, shutting his eyes for a moment. "There's some chains I picked up in the closet...they seemed durable enough to work. All you havta do is...tie it around me before the moon reaches the top of the sky."
no subject
Date: 2012-09-26 05:59 am (UTC)He felt a little warm after Clint's comment about his smell and he was thankful that he didn't blush too easily. Of course Phil was a little afraid, but it seemed normal to be. He was hardly terrified. He was just unsure and the situation wasn't... great.
"I'll do it. You'll be safe in the bathroom." He leaned his head against Clint's. "It's going to be okay."

Date: 2012-09-26 06:33 am (UTC)He guessed he wouldn't have to press his face against the side of Phil's head. Phil did it for him. Happy day for Clint. The younger man nuzzled the side of Phil's head, hiding the content look on his face easily. He didn't want to point out that he really could tell when Phil's body shifted one bit. He could. He paid enough attention to the man to notice the little things that most people generally ignored about the people they were roommates with. He didn't exactly know what he and Phil were too each other. Really good friends just seemed to cheapen it. Titling it would cheapen it.
Other than possibly his keeper. "If the neighbor's ask what the noise is...you can jus' say it was you havin' really hot sex with the guy who moved in." Clint whispered into his ear a little, a growl nearly rumbling through him at the thought. "I can guarantee you the downstair's neighbor will be really jealous...she likes to stare at my ass when I go for a run in the morning."

Date: 2012-09-26 07:01 am (UTC)Of course, not responding went out the window when Clint started to nuzzle. His breath might have hitched a little, much as he tried to cover it. It had been a while, he reminded himself, and he did really like Clint. He couldn't help little reactions like that.
The arm that was around Clint settled more firmly against the back of his shoulders as Phil's hand rested on Clint's bicep and, jeez, Phil was toned from his time in the Army, but he had nothing on Clint. "Can you really blame her?" He smiled. He'd be jealous of himself, if he was honest. Clint was hot. Phil was the last person to argue that he wasn't.

Date: 2012-09-26 07:36 am (UTC)A smile tugged at his lips when he felt Phil's breath hitch a little after he nuzzled him before sliding his lip along the top of the other man's ear. This was a little easier than he thought it would have been. If he was in his usual state of mind, he probably wouldn't have been as forward. But who was putting that into the equation, really.
"Not really...I am pretty damn good lookin'." Clint's body felt like it was on fire the moment Phil's hand rested on his bicep. There was really nothing good going to come out of this, he could already see it forming in his head before he shifted a bit in his place next to Phil before pressing against Phil a little more. "I don't see how she doesn't see that she has two incredibly attractive guys living above her though."

Date: 2012-09-26 08:10 am (UTC)He closed his eyes at the feel of Clint's lips. He wasn't sure if Clint was teasing him or trying to get somewhere, but Phil wouldn't fight him, either way. It was embarrassing how easily he wanted to follow Clint into whatever he wanted. Maybe Phil was a just a sucker for a pretty face, but he didn't think that was really all there was to it.
"You're a little distracting." Phil knew that he was attractive, but he also knew that Clint was downright hot. Honestly, between himself and Clint, there was really no contest as to who the downstairs neighbor was going to notice and Phil really couldn't blame her. His arm tightened around Clint as he pressed closer.

Date: 2012-09-26 08:34 pm (UTC)"Just a little?" Clint scowled a bit before pulling himself up so he was sitting on the other man's lap, looking into his eyes intently. He already recognized Phil as a lot of things to him. His best friend. The man who had picked him up off the streets to make sure he would be okay. The man who had seen him at his worst and still didn't see a problem with that at all as he grinned down at him. "I'd like to think I was a lot distractin'...considering, sir." Considering the fact that the only person Clint noticed was the man in front of him. He honestly couldn't care what others thought about himself.
Once again, he wouldn't be as forward if it wasn't before the full moon.

Date: 2012-09-27 04:33 am (UTC)"It's a little difficult to notice anyone else when you're around, you know that?" At least Phil had a hard time paying attention to anything else when Clint was an option. It would probably be creepy if he didn't know that Clint was at least somewhat interested in him. He still felt a little pathetic, the way his attention focused so intently on Clint whenever he was there, but he guessed it could be worse.

Date: 2012-09-29 09:03 am (UTC)"I can imagine. How do you think I deal with it myself when you're around, Phil?" Clint knew the affect he could have on people. He hoped it was a similar affect for Phil but didn't hold his breath. What he wanted to make absolute certainty of was that Phil knew his effect on Clint. Clint dragged his lips along the line of the other man's jaw before kissing him, not like before. Before was more of a comfort. Right now it was more of a statement, something deeper than before as he shifted a bit on Phil's lap.

Date: 2012-09-30 05:33 am (UTC)He was very much affected by Clint. It was inescapable. He'd spent more than one sleepless night since Clint had arrived thinking about him, about doing this. There wasn't much he didn't want from Clint or with Clint. There wasn't much he didn't want to do to Clint or let him do to Phil.
Just thinking about it had him feeling warm. He was pretty much going from zero to turned on faster than he thought was possible at his age.
"I'm really not nearly as distracting as you are." Phil was attractive, but not like Clint. Nowhere near the way Clint was.

Date: 2012-09-30 08:30 am (UTC)He was incapable of making a responsible decision at this point in time as he chuckled a bit against Phil's lips, a grin forming on his face. He had ideas. He had a lot of ideas when it came to Phil. What Phil could do to him and what he could do to Phil. Everything in his head was pretty much a give-or-take thing. It was pretty much on reflex when he pressed himself against Phil. The position he was in was really giving him nothing to work with as his lips traveled down to the other man's neck. If only just to have him continue speaking. Clint liked it when Phil talked. "'m not that distracting...you seem to go on fine with me 'round this place. But I could be distracting..."

Date: 2012-10-05 04:08 am (UTC)Still, he's practically buzzing against Clint, head tipping to the side as he all but pushes closer. Without even thinking, he's baring his throat to Clint. He can't think of anything he wants more than Clint's mouth on his skin.
